Im 24+5 with DC2 and basically ive just started getting these pains about 10 mins ago and its really quite painful. Anyone had this before? I know its not contractions or anything of the sort but quite confused considering ive just been sitting down :S Its in the middle/front of my bump, kinda going from belly button downwards. Everything stretching maybe?
Thanks in advance!

Could well be stretching. Did you hve a c-section last time? If you did, adhesions coming apart can be pretty painful.

It was but it's a distant memory now. I always think, if you're worried, call the midwife.

I am 38+3 now and started getting those stabbing pains at around 25 weeks. My midwife said it was just stretching. Frightened the life out of me though!! xxx

I'm 36 weeks and the last 4-5 weeks been having stabbing pains, they hurt so much they make me feel sick. My midwife said it's possibly an irritable uterus, baby seems OK but they really do hurt.

I noticed I used to get them when I'd had a busy day, lots of moving around, rushing about and so on.... I know how u feel they are very painful, the best thing to do is rest more, take it easy u could be over doing it, take care.
