SNORING!!!!!!

Since being pregnant I think I have been snoring really loudly and really unattractively and I think it's got worse. I wasn't sure if DP was just taking the piss but I stopped at my mum's for a night and she said she could here me downstairs. How minging is that??! Is this just me? Is there anything I can do to stop it?

I'm fat and hairy and am snoring like an old man. Poor old DP...

I thought it was just me !! mine has got progressively worse as I've got further along (I'm now 37 wks on tuesday )
It's so loud it wakes me up. I thought my other half was exaggerating until he spitefully recorded me last night, it is horrendous ! He has to turn the tv up downstairs if im asleep upstairs. I hope to god the neighbours cant hear me (we live in a semi Blush )

Me too! We had friends staying this week and apparently they could hear me from the living room Blush. My DH has started wearing silicon Boots earplugs, which apparently work very well. Not sure there's much we can do bar getting the baby out. Six weeks to go....

My DH says I sound like a B52. Thanks... but he's also bought some earplugs, so hopefully those will work!
I snored before on occasion, but find I am am having sinus issues atm so it's much worse. Also struggling to get comfortable- not sure if that's related...

Me too. I'll die of shame on the ward if it doesn't instantly disappear on giving birth.

It's all the relaxin - helpfully opens pelvis and unhelpfully loosens throat muscles etc too.

oh...I thought this was a thread about husband's/partners snoring....Nope I don't snore, but my (D)H DOES. IT's driving me mad..I already have trouble sleeping at night and wake up at 4-5am every morning. I desperately try to go back to sleep but I can't without slapping or punching him a few times to stop him snoring first. It's horrible. I don't know what I'm going to do when the baby is born. He never snored this loudly when DD was born. He'll wake the baby up all through the night with his "khaaaaakkhooooooooocchhaaaaa" sounds :(

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one. The thing is I hate the noise and if someone is snoring and I hear them I feel really ill. DP is covered in bruises from me kicking him in the night for doing a bit of loud breathing and I'm waking up the neighborhood!
