Hi ladies, I'm 9 weeks pregnant and am expanding daily! I just caught a glimpse of my bottom and I aware it has literally doubled since being pregnant! Also my tummy is massive I know it's too early to get a baby bump so maybe I'm just seriously bloated but I look about 5 months pregnant at least!
Also just got on the scales my pre pregnancy Weight was always between 10st 5-8lbs I'm now 12 stone!!! Surely I can't keep gaining at this rate I'll end up putting on about 10 stone, will my weight gain slow up & balance out, or am I destined to be lifted out my house by craine come labour day?!

What is your diet like? Are you eating anymore then normal?

there is a chance that it's a combination of eating more to combat sickness and being more careful with your exercise routine.

I personally advocate going for a walk each day - half an hour will be fine.
and if you feel sick, just have a ginger biscuit, or some ginger beer - I can't promise it'll work, but it will help! Grin

If you did regular exercise before you got pg, then do carry on with it (take it more easily when you do, though - like avoid bouncing or doing huge stretches)
it should help.

It sounds to me like you are retaining lots of fluid, this also happened me, I gained 10lbs in such a short space of time and over 2 weeks it all came off and I lost weight. Don't worry, eat healthily and don't 'diet'

I was gaining lots but have been trying to be more active since I had my 12 week scan. I haven't put on anything since then (approx 2 weeks ago)

Thanks all. My diet is really good the only thing I'm doing differently is making sure I get breakfast everyday which I usually skipped 3-4 times a week, but it's not like I'm eating a fry up it's either porridge, toast or weetabix. Im also drinking loads more water thinking about it so many ur right and im hanging on to that - in mu bum cheeks!! Exercise wise I'm doing the same as always - except abs exercises. I walk daily, do a Zumba class twice a week and do a 30 minute resistance workout 2-3 times a week. I manage a natural health & exercise centre and havnt told anyone at work I'm pregnant yet but know people are wondering why I'm gaining so much and probably thinking my centre doesn't work! I'm actually bad for my own business lol

I'm lucky enough not to have experienced morning sickness yet if it starts maybe my Weight will balance out - not that that's how I want it to!

I have polycystic overies - well the right one. I always have to watch my weight because of this as I put it on super easily, not sure if this may have something o do with the weight gain in pregnancy.

Moved house last week and out of London so havnt seen a midwife yet am organising that tomorrow so I appreciate ur advice, you guys have been my mid wives so far :)
