yesterday baby really slowed down on the movement front -barely had 10 moves - went to MAU late last night and had a trace -all was fine BUT she is not really moving again today -she has moved but not as usual again. Do I accept this as her new pattern as all well on trace - am so anxious to get this baby out as have young dcs who are 2 and 3 and i have lost all perspective

Phone MAU back and tell them that she's still not as active as normal, they'll tell you whether they want to see you for another trace. If you're at all worried then insist on going in - a MW told me they'd rather see someone daily and send them home reassured then have that person sit at home worrying.

Yes, do that.

I'd go back in if I were you. Don't be shy - we're told to monitor their movements, so they can't complain when we do.

Go back in, they won't mind. I went in yesterday for trace and would do again if I had concerns (although it did take some sensible Mnetters to push me to go!)

Both my babies went a bit quiet around that time - something to do with settling into position ready for birth and having less space when right down in pelvis - also when in good position for birth, arms and legs facing more into your spine so movements not as readily felt as if back-to-back - just to try and give you some reassurance that what you are experiencing could be completely normal.

I would however still be in very close contact with your MAU and do as others have said - take comfort from the normal trace, but do go in every day for monitoring if you are at all worried. That's what they're there for, and this is a critical time. Lots of luck with your impending labour!
In awe of third baby......feeling broody again now my youngest is almost 2!

Big protective for you.

It's worth going in every day if you are worried. Mine (37weeks too!) usually kicks off when I go to bed but has been a bit quieter during the day recently.
