Hi all - ive posted in the Health board but no reply yet. I've been thinking I might have something wrong with me & now Im also wondering if I might be pregnant again?

My son is now 6 mths old and my periods seemed to return on 31 July (Im still breastfeeding). They were quite heavy and lasted for about a week.

About 2 days ago I had major cramping and have had brown/light pink discharge. Is this normal after pregnancy? Are periods generally a bit odd before settling down? Could I be pregnant? We've only had sex once since I had my son because I had SPD etc for ages and didnt feel in the mood. Not sure what to think!

I had weird periods for about 3/4 months after they started again after ds2. So this could just be your body settling back again.
But it could be that you are pg. The only way you'll know for sure is to do a test.

yes its just hard to know & Ive been worrying about it for days now. Taking a test is the only answer. If Im pregnant I will be happy of course, but also I will be a bit embarrased as its so soon after my first child. My parents are going to be a bit weird with it I think.... Hmm

Im also going to be upset because Ive lost all my baby weight and am about 2 stones skinnier than I was before I fell pregnant. I was looking forward to becoming a bit of a fashionista for a while to be honest! Grin

But I suppose a test is the only way to be sure....better get myself to the chemist then this afternoon....
