hello, ok so maybe I'm on the wrong board but I'm tired and fed up and need some positive stories to make me feel better.

Anyone here pg after taking Clomid, or with a beautiful Clomid baby? That's all. Just need to hear some fab good news stories to cheer me up.

Thanks in advance xx

I have a clomid baby :o)
1yr&1/2 of trying naturally,HSG's, diet, voodoo hoodoo potions and PSCO before I was given clomid. 3 cycles and a roller coaster ride of hormones and emotions then my BFP x
Now have a beautiful, cheeky, chunky 10 mth old baby girl.
Hope everything works out for you xx

Lovely, thank you very much and congratulations. Did you suffer with side affects then? I'm starting first cycle shortly so have everything (and I mean everything, the crossed eyes are giving me a headache :)) crossed.

Any more most welcome please!

Yes, I have a Clomid baby - except he's a lovely 5 year-old now. In fact, I kind of have two - ds2 was conceived very quickly after ds1 was born - apparently the effects of Clomid last a bit longer than I realised Blush. He's fabulous too btw.

Only side effect I remember is the hot flushes in the few days I was taking it (I conceived in the 2nd month iirc).

Good luck! Hope it all works out for you.

Three Clomid babies! That is amazing! Were they all singletons, if you don't mind my asking?

General moodiness/headaches, not much different from bad pmt, with the third mid cycle pain but that was about it.

Everything crossed for you too!

This is fab thank you and congrats all. You have lifted me up a bit! Though at the risk of being greedy, good news stories involving Clomid AND one tube would be especially well received!

Xx

I'm 38 weeks with a clomid baby. Concieved on the second cycle after two years ttc

I had hot flushes, sore breasts etc.

I did get very upset when the first cycle didn't work.

I've got my fingers crossed for you

Ds - born after 6 cycles of Clomid not working then somehow got pregnant 5 months later (no periods in all that time)
18 mo later - 3 cycles Clomid, nothing.
6 mo after that - metformin and clomid, conceived on second cycle. 13 weeks now, one fetus. No twins at all in my family!

Im 37 weeks preg today with DC1 who's a Clomid baby. 19 months TTC with not a hint of a BFP, PCOS, 100 day cycles and slight blockage on one tube. Got BFP on 2nd cycle of Clomid Smile I too was very upset when didn't work on first cycle. I'd resigned myself to it not working and us needing IVF (we'd been put on the 3 year waiting list) and was just grateful for the regular period it was giving me. Be positive and patient (easier said than done I know!) Smile
