Morning sickness worse at 12 weeks?

I have been sick the entire pregnancy but mostly only twice a day. Since last week (11) it's been 4, 5, 6 + times. I'm not dehydrated but I am miserable. Is this the peak before it gets better? The Obgyn has given me metoclopramine but it's useless. :-(

Me too ... was feeling a bit grotty from about 8 weeks but 12-14 weeks have undoubtedly been the worst for sickness and tiredness. I'm now 14+6 and I've felt much better for the last 4 days so I'm hoping it's tailing off now!!

It's horrible isn't it Sad? What are you doing to cope? Ice cold coke and naps are the only things I find that make a dent.

I was sick first thing and last thing every day from 8 weeks, which peaked at around 13/14 weeks to about 5 times a day. Then around 16/17 weeks it's just stopped Hmm I got some queasiness around 28 weeks but that's eased now too. I remember it being so tiring at the time but now it all seems a distant memory :)

I am now 36w, I still feel sick. I say the actual vomitting peaked at 8 times a day around 16w. I tried 3 different anti-sickness meds before I got one that worked for me. I am still on Cyclizine, a few times I have tried not to take it, (as recently as last week when I forgot one of my doses) within 12 hours of not having one I start to vomit again (and yes I vomit maybe once or twice a week, even though I am taking them).

So what I am trying to say is

  1. don't assume MS is a first trimester only thing
  2. Go back and explain the meds are NOT helping - they will try another you don't have to keep on suffering
  3. Good luck

I'm still in the very early stages, but feeling more sick in the last few days & struggling to eat anything other than fruit & biscuits & a few other bits. My other half keeps telling me to eat but I think I will just throw it back up. I know they say to eat little & often but Im struggling to know what to eat for snacks. Has anybody else been / or is like this?

The only things that I could keep down was porridge and Ribena Hmm it took a bit of trial and error to find them, and now I can't bear the thought of either! TMI but I also ate Fox's boiled fruit sweets as they made my sick taste nicer
