Lower back pain.

Am 23 weeks pregnant and had have lower Back pain now whenever i lie down for a few weeks and its getting worse.

When i finally manage to get up and put my feet on ground i have problems standing and when i finally start walking its like im a wooden puppet!

any tips or advice appreciated!

get a physio referral from your community midwife.

(BTW - 10 threads about the same? your back must really hurt Grin)

Yes definitely get a referral, my midwife was great and got me one straight away, I know others take a more 'you're pregnant, you get backache' attitude so push for one if you have to. I started physio at 23 weeks (now 34) and my backache/pelciv pain is so much better, she gave me simple exercises to do and I saw every couple of weeks until last week when she discharged me with an open apt in case it comes back but so far so good.
