Come reassure me those whose symptoms faded at 10weeks and it was all ok!

This is my 4th pregnancy. 1mmc at 10 weeks, on ectopic and one DD 16months.

With the MMC symptoms faded from 7weeks which is when the baby died and I miscarried at 10 weeks. (had had a good scan with HB at 6wks with that pregnancy)

with DD I was sick pretty much every day from 7.5wks and felt utterly rough until 17weeks.

This one I started to be sick at 5.5 weeks with horrific nausea. The nausea eased but was still being quite sick but now the sickness has eased too. I am dogtired and feel faintly nauseous but nowt as bad as it was before or how it was for DD. I had a scan at 8weeks and all was fine (waited till then as scan with hb at 8weeks mc risk drops to 2%.) have my 12 week scan in just under 2wks and am just over 10weeks now so come and reassure me ladies please!

Me!

My last pregnancy ended in MMC, detected at 10 weeks, so when my symptoms went at 10 weeks this time I was hysterical, sobbing, convinced it was all happening again? went to the 12 week scan expecting the worst?

I'm now 35 weeks ? all fine so far! Try to remember that stressing won't affect the outcome (although I know it's impossible not to worry). Good luck xx

Hey hun... up to 9 weeks all I had was slight nausea and headaches... that's it! that stopped in week 9 and I was so paranoid something was wrong and I had had a mmc, so much I nearly booked a private scan... but I waited as I figured if something had happened finding out earlier would not change it... but I needent have worried my scan showed a little baby with 10 fingers and toes waving and kicking :-)

You're just one of the lucky ones x x

Aww thanks that makes me feel a bit better- keep doing the odd tampon dipstick test too to check no bleeding. I did just retch this morning after I posted that so that made me feel better too. :) fingers crossed then. If all is okay won't mind at all not being sick til 17weeks like I was with DD

Mine have been coming and going since about 10wks, I'm now 13+4. Some days I'm good and some I'm not.

Have you had lots of sleep/rest? Mine is better if I'm well rested.

It's so worrying though.....I had a mmc in Jan & mc in March, then a bfp straight after.

Just a thought, do your epu do a reassurance scan?? Mine do after two consecutive mc's, so might be worth an ask.

My nausea faded at 10 weeks too - I didn't have many other symptoms anyway. Am now 33 weeks :) Do not fret - or try not to, anyway. As you rightly point out, the odds are massively on your side having had a good scan at 8 weeks :)

I'm sure I read somewhere that the placenta starts to take over from around 10-12 weeks, & that is part of the reason why your symptoms begin to disappear then... I know that my symptoms defo got less frequent in Pregnancies 1&3 (no symptoms at all preg 2) from around 10wks - I could go for 3 or 4 days feeling TOTALLY fine, then would suddenly get a random day of nausea & sickness.

Same here, after mmc at 9 weeks my symptoms really eased off at 10 weeks in subsequent pregnancy. As i felt sick till 14 weeks in my successful pregancy I headed straight into EPU panicking but happily i am now 19 weeks so obviously it was fine!
