Belly button crater anyone?

Now at 39 wks I have had a sore belly button area for a few weeks with rather fetching spiral strechmarks around it. This morning I noticed that the whole area has sunk into a crater about the width of a tennis ball, not deep but noticable...and it wasnt there yesterday. Am I normal or is my LO burrowing out?

My belly did that. It was because she was lying sideways so there was a kind of gap by my belly button. It might be worth getting on the birthing ball or on all fours to get your LO in the right position, if that's the reason for it.
