Warning about googling pregnancy stuff

Hi, I'm probably the only one that's been stupid enough to do this but I wanted to warn you so noone else does.... I typed 14 week old foetus into google because I just wanted to know more about the stage I'm at, and unfortunately it came back with some very sad images of babies at this stage that have died or been miscarried. So be very careful about what you look up and the search terms you type in.

Kids at school were looking up images of aliens for a project and pics of dead babies came up. I don't think they realised but I turned away (making a big thing would have made them all notice). I'm 23w pg and the other teacher in the class is 28w. Not nice. Mind you, when 22w pg with dd a colleague who'd lost her baby at 22w chose to show me a pic of her baby minutes before she died - her reason was to show what my baby looked like inside me. I think she wanted to share the picture and her memory of her little girl but it really wasn't appropriate IMO. I was very proud at how I held it together!

If you google 'pregnancy week by week' you get quite a few safe websites that talk you through development stages, what to expect, etc.

I made the mistake of googling when I had pains at 12 weeks and it made me think I was having ectopic which scared the hell out of us, was a UTI but I couldn't get hold of MW or any one else. However I do agree with Booboo as have found good week by week pages.
