I saw the MW today and she has measured my uterus as 28 weeks when I am only 24, she said she will monitor it and will decide whether to book me in for a scan after our 28 week appointment.

My fluids were just average at 20 week scan so I'm not sure if I would be carrying a lot of water, does this fluctuate often?

I was quite a big baby myself, 9lbs 10. DH is 6ft 7".. is it just a big baby?
has anyone else had this?

Very worried :(

The measuring tape is very inaccurate thats why they only use it as an indication if a scan maybe needed and even then scans have a 10% inaccuracy rate.

I am 38 weeks and measuring something crazy like 42 weeks but on the scan yesterday it was around the 70th centile so not huge at all.

They will keep a monitor on you but its really nothing to worry about as they can never be sure what size the baby will be and your treatment in labour should not be any different.

Enjoy your pregnancy Smile
