Just a waffle really, took my daughter in today and she has suspected slapped cheek, they have now worried me saying its a risk for pregnant women. Had blood tests and they said it could take a week.
Just on here looking at info, hopefully i havent had this, anyone with any experience?

I had a blood test after coming into contact with someone with slap cheek and found I was immune anyway. I don't ever remember having it. My Dr said it was dangerous to women who are 12 weeks pregnant and under, but only if you're not immune and you get it!

I understand that most adults are immune. You may well have had it as a child and not even been aware of it. Try not to worry - easier said than done I know. Remember, you are probably immune. Also you say 'suspected slapped cheek'..may be just pink cheeked for other reason. I remember interrogating my mum when I was in a similar position to you. Poor woman trying to remember 40 odd years back! I apparently often had red cheeks and no specific episode remembered. I was immune though.

I think this will be the case, just worried me when they turned their attention from my dd to me! Fingers crossed anyway
