Overdue with 1st = overdue with 2nd?

If you were overdue with your 1st DC were you overdue with your 2nd DC?

DS was induced at 42 weeks and I was just wondering what the chances are DC2 will be late too?

DC1 was 12 days late and DC2 was 7 days late - BUT both were cooked for exactly the same length of time - ie i conceived a week earlier in my cycle with DC2!

Now preggie with DC3 so goodness knows....

For me there's no pattern! I was induced with the first (preeclampsia so she doesn't count); was 11 days late with 2nd and 3 weeks early with my 3rd!!

I'm expecting my 4th (and last if i have anything to do with it) - due date is 21st March but I'm just expecting any day in March!

DS was 18 days over. DC2 due on Friday. THink I was going into labour last week but then I came down ill and it all stopped. Was hopig for nice positive answers here as I really want baby out by Christmas!

DS1 induced at 42+5

DS2 arrived of his own accord on his EDD! I had no warning before the EDD that things might be about to happen. Waters went at 3am, twinges began around lunctime, ds2 arrived by 5pm!

My first was 9 days late, my second was 11 days late. I'm not chancing a third!

Both mine exactly 13 days late, born hours before appointment for induction. Just figured I must have a slightly longer gestation period than normal.

DS1 was induced at 5 days late, DS2 was 10 days early (took us by surprise as I had assumed if one was late they all would be!) and dd was 5 days early, so it doesnt always follow the same pattern

DS1 came day before EDD
DD2 5 days late, arrived the day after I'd done the pre-op stuff for C-section.

not sure there's any pattern to it
