I want symptoms!

I never thought I'd be wishing sickness and tiredness on myself...

I am 5+1 and a bit lacking in symptoms. I am peeing a lot and am hungrier than usual, but most days I feel great, no tiredness, no sickness. It seems as though most people have more symptoms - has anyone been in a similar position as me at this stage?

TIA

You are only 5 weeks. For most woman (not all) sickness and fatigue kick in between 6 and 7 weeks. Then you'll be wishing you never posted this Wink

Thanks Catherine. I am sure you speak sense. It is just hard reading about other peoples' early symptoms! Bring on the day when I let out a hollow laugh thinking of this post!

Thank your lucky stars I would say, you may start to experience more symptoms in the next few weeks.

I am 30 weeks now and still feeling sick daily, I would give my eye teeth to feel well.

To put your mind at rest, I know plenty of women who hardly had any symptoms and sailed through their pregnancies to have healthy babies. Enjoy it!

I second that Rocklover. I was hoping things might have improved for you lately.

fallingandlaughing it must be really frustrating to want to 'feel' pregnant but you will, it's just a case of waiting. If you're lucky enough to escape morning sickness (you really don't want that!) then the 'generally rubbish feeling' will get you at some point! Enjoy feeling well as long as possible Wink

Oh thanks everyone.

My Mum was pointing out to me that in the 70s no-one knew they were pregnant for sure til about 8 weeks. she said she didn't feel it til about then but never got real Morning Sickness, even with twins. Maybe I'll be the same.

Anyway I'll try to see the current state of affairs as a positive!

with both my DS adn DD I felt rough from about 6/7 weeks, this time I had no symptoms until I was 8/9 weeks. Panicked me as I had 2 previous m/c where I'd had no symptoms but this baby is now 17 weeks old and making his/her presence felt!

Just enjoy feeling well!!!

I am only a couple of days ahead of you and know what you mean!
if I had some symptoms then it would all seem a little more real.

fallingandlaughing - those are famous last words, be careful what you wish for... :)

If it's any consolation, the whole being pg thing did not sink in for me until I had my first scan, even though I was sick all the time, my boobs did hurt and I was dead tired. Only when I saw bean bouncing around on the screen, it hit me that I'm really pg and had not been imagining things!

I'm 8 or 9 weeks, only found out yesterday. My 4th pregnancy, never had symptoms! I didn't know I was pregnant until now because my cycle is screwy from breastfeeding and I don't get symptoms. I only tested because I was getting stressed about where my period was.

Most I get is the most wicked PGP!
