Just painful Braxton Hicks?

I have been out at the park with DD most of the afternoon, since we got home I have been having quite uncomfortable contractions. I passed them off as braxton hicks initially but they're getting quite frequent and sore now. I am getting worried as I'm only 26 weeks pregnant and DD almost came at 27 weeks. I don't want to be a hypochondriac but I've just never had this many braxton hicks in such a short space of time before.
I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance as I've just moved to a new area and am quite isolated and a bit scared. Haven't called DP yet as he's at work and don't want to worry him...

No helpful advice, but I think you should call DP and call the mw. It might be nothing but it might be something so better to get it checked out. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply the contractions eased off over night. Quite a relief really as I was starting to worry.
