My Daughter (3y, 5m) has been using knickers & has been completely dry during the day for 4 months. She still uses nappies for bedtime (she hasn't had a dry night yet) which is fine.
However, when we're getting her ready for bed at night, after putting the night time nappy on she appears to completely forget about using the toilet & just does everything in her nappy, even down to blatantly doing a poo whilst she's watching in the night garden before bed. We even ask her "do you need the toilet" and she says no (mid squeeze) (sorry for TMI)
We've left the nappy off until the last minute & prompted the toilet but she doesnt appear interested, then we we go to bed hours later shes heavily soiled (sometimes poo, but always lots of wee).
I'm wondering if its laziness or if im missing something.
The reason why im questioning whether it is because last week there was one incidence this where i forgot to put a nappy on & left her in bed. About 3/4 hours later she woke herself up & shouted down to me saying that she had no nappy on & needed a wee!
