Potty training

Waterproof shoes (like jellies but not..)

We are toilet training our little boy and all is going well, much better than I expected. Even at nursery his accidents are reducing every day he goes (1 half day and 1 fully day).

Anyway nursery have highly recommended we get him some footwear that can be wiped clean, like jelly sandals (their example).
Now I hate those kind of things anyway, plus they are not suitable for winter and will not offer him enough support in my opinion. So I'm looking for some sort of trainer style footwear that is rubber and can be wiped clean, and will also offer enough support. I really hate clogs and again don't feel they offer satisfactory support.
He will travel there and back in his normal trainers, so they are for while he is in nursery. I was thinking maybe swim shoes might be okay? But not sure. Any ideas where I can get such an item of footwear? I've looked everywhere I can think of and had no luck at all.

Crocs have a variety of styles other than the clogs (but the clogs have a back strap and are very supportive for feet)

They also do these which are on offer

Clarks doodles will chuck in the washing machine but may take time to dry

Rubber soled slippers (wear his trainers when he's outside at nursery)

Somewhere like Sports and Soccer or an outdoor shop might do the swim shoes

They need to be fully wipe clean. No fabric.
I worry about the crocs with strap at the back slipping off his feet. And I worry that they may forget to change him before he goes outside. I've looked for different style crocs and can't find any at all.

Crocs are definitely easiest, we advise parents to bring them in. They wipe down easily and we change the child into wellies when going out.

my dd has some wipe clean sketchers- full shoe style but rubberized/croc-type material.
