So my DD is 2yrs 4mths and we have been potty training for the past week now. We have had good days and bad days. But she's still averaging 3/4 wee accidents a day and 1 poo one. She sometimes tells me she needs a wee. The HV seems to think she's on the right track. I just feel like the whole process is failing and I don't know what to do for the best. My husband has said he'll supportive whatever decisions I make as I'm the one at home all day.

I am struggling 😞 I suffer with depression and anxiety. At the moment I'm struggling each day. There is no reason for me to feel like this. I have another docs app later this week to talk my feelings through.

I'm sorry. I guess I just needed to vent.

I've just trained my little
Girl. After 3 weeks of accidents I was ready to give up but I stuck with it and it was like a switch was flicked and she got it. I persisted because she did wee on the toilet when she wanted to and I got the strong feeling she could do it was choosing not too. If you don't get that feeling then maybe just give it a few months and try again x

Hey

Sounds like you are both doing really well to me! What are you struggling with? Is it the mess from the accidents or that the progress is feeling slow?

I'm no expert as we have only been going three days! We have had no poo accidents but countless wee accidents (all have been outside).

Happy to do a solidarity thread with you if you fancy or if it's not the right time for your mental health then there is no problem in stopping and starting again in a few months?

The two things I have done to make things less stressful is I have bought loads and loads of pants and shorts and we are outside all the time.

Hope you are ok xx
