Of wee... I obviously scrub as much as I can but also am obviously missing patches.

Am I the only one spending the best part of their evening on hands and knees sniffing the carpet?!

Is it possibly a psychological thing? You know there is wee there and so can smell it?

A toddlers wee shouldn't be so pungent as to stink out a house after it's been cleared up.

How many accidents you having?

It's not rancid horrible men's toilet sort of smell but it's definitely whiffy! Have had a few friends confirm there's a smell of wee.
I've been just leaving my toddler with no nappy and rushing him to the potty if he hasn't already made a run for it. He's caught on really quickly but I think he's left me a few presents on the sofa cushions and carpet that I've missed! It's been so hot recently that we've been outside a lot and I guess they've just dried up before I've noticed them.
Suppose I'll just have to hose down the entire house and hope that does it 🙄.
What does everyone use on carpet/upholstery??

I've been wondering this too. I was hanging up a load of washing this morning, mostly pee soaked pants and leggings from a weekend away when it was all just too exciting to stop for the potty (before I gave up and put a pull up back on her). Even after a wash I thought I could still smell it. I know my toddler doesn't drink enough so I think that's part of it.
If you know where the patches are you might want to try something for pet smells? We have a great Bissell foam thingy with an integrated brush which is great for really scrubbing carpet and sofas of pet stains. I think it is <a class="break-all" href="//www.amazon.co.uk/BISSELL-Carpet-Upholstery-Aerosol-1139E/dp/B00H7DQANE?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">this stuff

Thanks moggle, I'll check it out...it's so beautiful outside at the moment that I'm just leaving the windows open and staying outside 😂

This is why you potty train in the summer so that you can do the no nappy thing outside, not inside on the carpet!

I second trying pet shampoo stuff - they are really good. Assuming that child wee reacts like cat wee, you could be making it worse by cleaning it with regular cleaning products. There's something about the ammonia in urine that reacts to the chemicals in them, IIRC
