Difference between boys and girls night time pants?

Hi,

My dd has just turned 4 and is dry in the day but not ready to sleep without a nappy.

I have been using Aldi pull ups (size 6), which have been great, but they're getting tight now because she's had a growth spurt. (She's also a bit chubby but we're working on that.)

I've seen Huggies night time pull ups (large 16-23 kg) for boys and girls. Dd prefers the design for boys but before I buy them I just wanted to check they are not designed differently because of anatomy and are unisex like normal nappies? I couldn't see anything on the packaging that indicates they are made differently.

Maybe the boy ones have more padding at the front where their penis is and the girls ones are thicker underneath? I'm sure that used to be the case anyway. But I'm sure the boy ones will be fine even if that is the case.

No, unisex afaik. My DD (6) uses whatever is there and we haven't had any issues.

Most of the older branded ones have the padding in different areas. Boy's ones at the front, girls ones around the bottom.

Thanks for the replies. I'll risk it and report back.
