First day please tell me this is normal

We tried before but dd1 was definitely not ready. I'm pretty sure she is now. She's just 3 and so has a good understanding and speech.

We are days 1. 7 or so 'mummy I need the toilet as she is weeing' nothing in the potty/toilet so far. She is still happy to sit on them (the reason we stopped last time as she became quite upset) and we've been popping her on every 20 mins or so. A few times she's weed within minutes of coming off the potty.

This is normal right? Tmrw gets better doesn't it?

Sounds very normal for the first day and you are doing everything right so try not to worry.

We've had 3 chance wees in the potty (as in I spotted the wee dance/grab and popped her on it)

But she was so proud. It's definitely progress so I guess we crack on as we have been
