Are there different size/types of pottys?

Really basic question, are potties all standard shapes/sizes or do they differ? Are we supposed to use certain kinds for different age groups?
Would anyone recommend any in particular? They don't look very comfortable....thanks.

Yes there are loads and you can probably spend quite a bit on ones that look like little toilets etc
to be honest we had 2 for ds one for upstairs and one downstairs and he seemed to prefer the cheapy one from home bargains rather than the mother are more expensive character one.
i would personally suggest getting 2 cheap ones and see how you get on! If you want to decorate with stickers you could
