So we have been potty training dd for a week now and things seem to be heading in the right direction. Yesterday and today she has had one big wee accident and a little wee accident, these happen in the morning and I think are due to the confusion of taking her night time nappy off.
The issue is bedtime, she has rather quickly cottoned on to the fact that if she says she needs the potty we won't ignore her. She is wearing a nappy but we thought it would still be really important to let her use the potty if she said she needed it, and if she does go in the nappy she wants it changed. Any tips for shortening the rather protracted bedtimes we are currently enduring?
The other issue that nursery have raised is that she will do a big wee and then about 5 mins later has a small accident that distresses her, I have noticed her do this maybe twice this weekend and don't know if it is something to worry about or not.
