At 2 years and 3 months old! The same age dd1 was potty trained.

She just decided last week that she didnt want to wear a nappy and has been using the loo/potty ever since.

I am a little worried that at some point she will stop being so good. With dd1 we had sticker charts and all sorts for when she used the potty. With dd2 its seems normal IYSWIM.

Anyone else had this? Are they likely to regress if they have chosen it themselves rather then heavy encouragement?

My dd2 potty trained herself 6months ago (she was 18mo at the time) and has been dry day and night since. She's had a couple of random days where she has wet a couple of times for seemingly no reason and about 2 months ago she did the holding on til the last minute then dribbling in her pants but I think that's pretty normal testing the boundaries of your bladder type stuff!

My dd1 pretty much potty trained herself too. I have been very very lucky when it comes to potty training!

Thanks! That has made me feel better about it all. I thought I was really going to struggle with dd2 and was shocked when she just asked to do it!

My DD also self trained at 18 months. She is 3 in August and hasn't had an accident in AGES. She is dry day and night and would consider it an insult if anyone mentioned a nappy for her Grin

My almost two year old thinks nappies are a huge novelty now and will pull out her old (cloth) nappies and ask to try them on. She can't walk properly with a nappy on anymore though Grin
