Night nappies for ds driving me to despair

We've always used disposables at night, but we can't find anything that can hold all ds's night wee. Atm he's going through 2 huggies a night. There are 2 night nappies for older kids (ds is 4.7), one of them doesn't work, the other brings him out in a rash all across his bottom.

I've gone back to cloth which at least don't bloody leak, but am finding the wraps (motherease airflows) too tight for him - not just around legs, which is bad enough, but across top of penis area where I've been doing origami folds. Plus some nights he seems to come out with nappy rash across his hips and bladder area.

Any other ideas???

Ouch, poor little mite. I'd maybe move him back to the disposables and coincide that with lifting him around 10ish? Is he still having a night time drink? That maybe needs to go as well, my DS is 4.2, he was consistently soaking through his pull ups every night until we ditched the night drink. As long as he's lifted before we go to bed he's having more dry nights than not now. Good luck!

Bigger cloth night nappies?!
I am selling some Motherease Bedwetters soon, perhaps we can do a deal? ;)
Can't promise they'll suit, though, you'd probably want to buy one and see how it goes.

Which size Airflow? XL? Have you tried the Reb night pants or other wraps?
DS (7) only reliably dry about a month ago, I have tried a lot. But disps were generally better for us than cloth. I used the Lidl pink-package ones until he was 6.

Sorry, which other night nappies have you tried? Pyjama pants and...?

hi lljkk, sorry I don't know what they're called. Might be different here anyway (I'm in Oz)

I would def be interested in the motherease ones, ding me when the time comes. I have 2 cloth ones - one is a gigantic bamboo thing, the other is a quickflip. It's too small for him but works wonders, been thinking about getting a bigger one of those. Just not sure if it will fit under XL airflow.

ooh just remembered, think one of them was called DryNights. Don't remember if Pyjama Pants was right tho. It is so past my bedtime, my brain is going...

(Go to bed Woman Wink)

DryNites have been okay for us. Oz must have it's own cloth nappy scene, I guess.
We even tried old towels for a while (pinned up Gaynor fold, lots of leaks though), with XXL pants (Reb brand, I think).
Postage to Oz might be obscene, I'm sorry to say!
Still, PM me if you're truly interested in the Bedwetters...
