Can someone give me advice please. I had my little boy 7 weeks ago. I love him to peace's wouldn't change him for the world. But I'm also really struggling with my body and feelings.
I feel so down all of a sudden, I can't sleep, I keep getting theses horrible headache which are making me sick. Physically sick. I have previous mental health problems, which I try and keep under control which I think I do well at. But I'm really struggling at the moment, every time my baby cried I want to stuff my head into a pillow and scream and cry. My other half is helping with the night feeds because I'm struggling but I feel myself just getting worse by the day. Can someone give me some advice on why I feel like this? (First baby) thank you :)

Also.. I struggle to speak to friends now, as I can't hold convos anymore (anxiety) I can't answer my phone, I can go out in public by myself without worrying. I can hardly eat anymore.. is this normal?

It sounds like you're having a really tough time - and no wonder - it is hard having a baby. It's completely normal to struggle with being a mum. The good thing is you're aware of hope you feel. I think you need to make a visit to your GP for a little bit of support.

Is that something you think you can do?

Hi!

Sorry to hear that you're struggling right now.
I would really recommend speaking to your gp about getting some support.
They'll be able to get you in touch with talking therapies and discuss potential medications.

Sending you hugs x

I really struggled after my son was born and have been on tablets to help and now I feel back to my normal self. I'm only on a low dose but I was diagnosed with PND. I had no idea why I was feeling so anxious. Have a chat with your GP xx
