Bleeding - Might be slightly TMI

So I had my first baby 8 weeks ago, had to have stitches which have been checked by a doctor and are apparently all dissolved/healed. Had sex for the first time since the birth a couple of days ago, no pain but bled a little bit afterwards. I haven't bled since then, until this afternoon when I noticed spots in my underwear. I put a pad on and I'm still spotting.

I'm breastfeeding, back on the contraceptive implant and haven't had any sign of a period yet. Anyone experienced this? Should I make an appointment to get checked out again?
