New mums in New Malden

Dear All,
I've a 3 month baby boy and I'm looking to get out and about and to meet new mums in the New Malden area. Does anyone know of any groups for Mums and babies of a similar age? Or are there other Mums with new babies who'd like to meet for a coffee on the high street some time?

i went to a lovely postnatal yoga class at new malden library. even if you're beyond that stage/not into that kind of thing it's probably worth checking the library out.

Hello.

Am not a new mum but am in NM - Most of the toddler groups are very friendly and have baby corners. Tots in Tow at St Johns (down on kingston road, opposite homebase) runs monday and wednesday and has a baby bit with plently of babies. Very friendly too - just drop in and is only 50p, from 10 am I think until just before 12 and you can drop in and out at anytime(dd has just started pre-school so I don't go anymore)

Otherwise, I think the one at Christchurch has a baby bit - is on fridays but you have to get there early as they have limited space.

The only other one I've been to is Thursday at the methodist church in the high street which is fine although quite small.

Apparently the one at the Catholic church is quite good too. Have also heard good things about the stay and play sessions at the chidlren's centre down at Burlington School.

Thank you very much, very helpful info. I'll give them a go. Never done yoga before, but it sounds like fun and I could definitely do with the exercise!
