Every morning since the election my Ds age 9 asks if we have a PM yet? It's a bit like explaining the offside rule !

My DS, bless him ,took an interest in the election, they talked about it in school and he came with me to vote. he woke up on Friday morning all excited asking who the PM was. Have had to explain all about the ' Hung Parliament' which is a bit like me explaing the 'offside rule '.

I wish they would sort it out to make my DS happy !

There was a good simple explanation on Newsround this evening. Children wore photographic masks of Clegg, Cameron and Brown (with the eyes gouged out - quite gruesome) and all talked about joining teams and people trying to be best friends with someone you want as your best friend.

If they could now explain the offside rule to me I'd be sorted.

Indeed. I have used DS and DD's collection of bears to explain both the offside rule and a hung parliament.

This morning, the Conservatives will offer Nick Clegg a hundred chocolate factories, Africa and a pink fluffy pencil case.
