What actually is “momentum”?

The more I try to read thd more bamboozled I am about what momentum actually is.
Is it a faction of the Labour Party? Do you need to be in the party to be in momentum? Or is it a pressure group? I know they’re pro-Corbyn but what else are they? They seem powerful but mysterious and that doesn’t sit well with me.
What’s their relationship with Unite? My local mp was put up for deselection recently - was that done by momentum? Or unite?
I’m very confused 😐

They are not Labour. They have hijacked the Labour Party and installed their puppet Corbyn.
