Calling those who believe dreams have a meaning

There was somebody on a thread interpretting peoples dreams a while ago and it was really interesting. I know others are also into the fact that dreams do/may have meanings.

I've always been interested but at the same time skeptical. However I've only just started dreaming again after a long while of no dreams. I remembered them vividly. The first one I looked up was about something ending suddenly/the death of something - I assumed it would be my on/off relationship but the next day I had a death in my immediate family.

Last night I had a dream that seemed to lasst most of the night where I was searching for a horse (searching around yards and describing this horse) and people would take me round their yard to a barn or open stable doors as I trudged behind them describing the horse but it was never my horse and sometimes the horses they showed me weren't anything like my description but they were showing me all the 'lost' horses that they had in the hope I might be satisifed with another instead. I kept talling them that I needed to find my horse.

I woke up in the middle of the night and thought I must remember that in the morning. When I woke up I had this really strong memory of searching for something but it took me a while to remember it was a horse and then all of a sudden the whole dream replayed back to me!

Can anyone tell me what this might mean? If anything.. thanks

Hi- new to this and no expert but my feeling is that you are able to interpret your own dreams without needing to know what is the general consencus of the meaning of the symbols such as in a dream dictionary.
It sounds to me like the horse is some kind of personal strength- that you are looking for within yourself, and if that is the case may find yourself having to face a stark personal choice or set of circumstances that you need that strength for. Rather than being able to "ride" on the strength that others can offer you.
hope you aren't upset by my ideas.
