My friend has just called me with terrible news.

Her sister in law was rushed into hospital yesterday with terrible pain (she was 30 weeks pregnant)

They kept her in overnight and this moring she started to haemorrhage. They took her into theatre and she had a tiny baby girl who they rushed to SCBU and her condition is critical.

Mum had aneurism between her spleen and liver and she had to have massive amounts of blood and was 6 hours in theatre,he condition is also critical.

The next 24 hours are crucial for both.

Please join me in praying for them.
Thankyou

Thinking of them both - what a tragic story. I do hope things work out well for them all. Your friend must be frantic xxx

TheEvilDediderata · 12/10/2007 20:19

I've joined you.

Please keep us updated, with prayers and positive thoughts for the recovery of both mother and child.

My friend is beside herself. Her sister and sieter in law were all due same time as me. When her sister was 12 weeks she found out she was having a molar pregnancy. I dont know how much more the family can take.

Both of my friends own children were premature but thanks to god went on to be healthy beautiful children.

My friend called me to say both mum and baby have been moved to a more specialist hospital.Baby has been batised and is on ventilator. But a good weight of 4lb 3oz so hopefully will be able to hold her own. I have just seen a photo and shes beautiful.

Mum is still asleep and no change but after such a traumatic experience docs said she will sleep for 3 days.Hopefully she will wake soon and can met her little girl.

Thanks for all your prayers girls.Bless you.

I see this as good news, Chocolate. They will have such a special bond, the pair of them.

The little girl is a good weight, and mum will recover. I am very relieved.

Please keep us posted.
