Has anyone had a past life regression therapy done and how was your experience.

I've posted about mine before - search should bring up previous threads on this.

I did search nothing came up, so I thought I would post on it.

The fact that you use the word “therapy” suggests you’re looking for some sort of healing from it. Please don’t. Do it for fun if you like. But if you have issues you need help with, go to a proper counsellor or a doctor.

That's funny. I searched this section for regression and found a dozen hits on the subject

When you've done it, let us know if you were Elizabeth I or Joan of Arc.

Because one thing's for certain, you won't have been a factory worker from Droitwich.

Is there something you are looking to avoid in your current life that is leading you to want to search in a previous life? Good luck with your search.

I just thought it would be fun to do I am not looking for any answers or therapy from it. Just interested in the subject.

I'd love to have it done. A friend of mine did it and it turned out her ex boss (and on/off pain in the arse boyfriend) had had a serious connection in the past - married? Although this was 20 years ago and I obviously can't remember the details.

Also I remember the DJ Nicky Campbell being regressed on air. One detail that sounded realistic to me was that when he was told that his mum had died when he was 18 he said that he wasn't really upset as people die all the time (he was apparently a labourer in the medieval ages).

I'd love to hear the story being told, although a smartarse in the pub has of course said that they would make up a good story for the right money.

I had it done. It was really insightful.

Oh my god! I have just googled the cost in my area. I have just had an argument with DH about buying a new settee. It is the same cost (for a cheap settee admittedly)!

In what way was it insightful Skyejuly

Don’t worry, Rosie. I can tell just by reading your post that you were a slave girl at the court of King Cophetua.....

Yes many times, both by myself and assisted.
It’s hugely helped me, it’s been part of my soul retrieval journey, healing myself from the inside out

How do you do by yourself

I’ll do it for a tenner, with just as much veracity as the charlatans that are charging the cost of a settee.
Honestly??

I've booked one for fun!

What if my entire life to date is actually me remembering a past life, and when I wake up from the session I'll be a different future-me?!

I've had mine done now, it was an odd experience and I felt as though I was "filling in" details, my second "regression" (or subconscious imagination) felt desperately unhappy and I still feel it, like deeprooted sadness so thick it feels as though it could be vomited out.

You paid good money for someone to lie to you and upset you. I'm sure there's people you know who would have done that free.

I was a willing participant though, and have been very hard on myself since I was around 13 and carrying pointless guilt around, so if other-me or my subconscious is bringing up deep sadness to process maybe that's a good thing.

If you want surgery you would want someone professionally trained to the highest standard and belonging to a professional association that monitors the quality of their work. The same applies to professional therapists and for those that work with past lives you can try www.regressionassociation.com/past-life-regression-therapists.

If you are just curious and want a glimpse of a past life then many unqualified people can do it.

That's like telling someone who wants a unicorn that they should go to a professional breeder like they would do for a dog, and not just trust any old unicorn seller.
