Could the two be linked or not?

I would never ever partake in a ouija board so haven't invited anything.

Lately I have been coming home to find all the doors upstairs closed every time I come in, when the windows are also shut. I always leave the doors open because it's so hot but not the windows because we live near the middle of town.

I have also been having recurring dream about a girl talking to me over someone's shoulder and trying to tell me something but I can't hear what she says.

I know the sceptics who read this will think I'm crazy but what I'm looking for is an answer as to how I ask this politely to leave because I don't like it and don't want to see it. Is praying enough? I get the feeling that opening my mind to this stuff may have caused this but obviously I don't know.

Do you share your home with anybody else? Perhaps they're closing the doors.

No, I'm a single mum and usually the last person to leave the upstairs. I know this because the stair gate is shut too and the 2 year old can't close that. And my older two are at school.

Do you rent? Is there any chance anyone else is coming in.

Are you sure you don't close the doors, I quite often do it automatically to cut down on fire risk.

I would suggest you sellotape the bottom of the doors when you leave so if they are moved by a person they will move the tape. That way you'll know it wasn't you. Then I suggest you check your older kids aren't skipping school.

Before you assume the worst. :)

Well even if they were skipping school they wouldn't be able to get in - they don't have a key and one is autistic and couldn't leave school by herself - the other is only 7 and is one of only 5 in her class. I definitely don't close them - I don't like closed doors, in this heat I leave them open to circulate air. It irritates me when I come home to find them shut.

I am far more scared by the idea that a person is coming into the house tbh!!. Land lords are not supposed to enter houses without giving notice and this is happening quite a lot. I have only been here 6 weeks and the land lady said she was going to arrange to come when I'm here to meet for the first time. I am sure she would not come and keep closing the upstairs doors...

It's possible it's just the house moving. Our doors open when a lorry goes past.

Please don't worry, you haven't opened your mind to anything. It sounds to me like someone is trying to get your attention and tell you something or just show you that you're beng supported right now. It doesn't necessarily mean that there is a bad energy in your home. I believe that we all have guides that are there helping us, so the fact that they are trying to help is a good thing, not a bad thing. They wouldn't want you to be upset, so you can definitely ask them to leave you alone, or you could try to work out what they are trying to guide you about.

You can ask for them to stop closing the doors in your head. It may help you too if you were to burn some candles and in your head visualise your home being filled with lovely, white, sparkly light.

Thanks for replies. I am happy to say that the person doing this is dd3 who is only 2. At first I thought it couldn't possibly be her because I thought she couldn't open and close the stair gate, guess what she can??!! Anyway, today I observed her closing all the doors and the gate, very methodically after I said 'come on we're going out now' She must have been doing this when I was downstairs before!

So.........feeling very silly but also totally relieved!

Oh how funny! Well that's my theory blown out of the water!! Although if there'd been no other possible explanation then I'd have stood by it. Glad you're mind's at rest over it now.

LOL - she seems to suddenly be able to do things I didn't know she could. I did laugh when I saw her doing that this morning!
