Reminds me of the time my dog ate the beef off my sunday roast whilst I went to answer the door. Didnt realise straight away as he hadnt made a mess at all and it was covered in gravy. The sly beggars!!!

My dear dog ate nearly a lb of raw carrotts that I had left in a bucket by the back door after digging them up from my allotment yesterday. All that was left was a garden covered in green stalks!! Orange lumpy poo this afternoon

My Border Terrier has perfected the art of vertical take off. She launches herself straight up level with the top of the work surface and grabs whatever she can. It is very funny to watch. Usually comes down with the rubber gloves and runs around madly with them slapping herself around the face.

The solution is to get a dachshund. Mind you, ours scared us silly by eating a whole allegedly poisonous houseplant, the only thing (other than his DOG FOOD) that was in reach

The other day, I was doing some painting in the dining room (trying to get a picture finished before the friend it's a gift for comes to stay tomorrow). I had to stop for a while, but didn't want to put all my paints etc away, so I very carefully made sure that all the doors to the dining room were shut, and told dh why I'd done this.

He then waltzed through the dining room and left the door open so that the dog could get in and steal the palette with the acrylic paints I was using, and drag the sheet with them on off onto the floor! She didn't eat the paints, but did manage to get paint onto one of my favourite cushions on the sofa in the lounge - thank heaven she didn't get it on the upholstery.

He was surprised that I was hacked off.

Ddog has also eaten a full tub of butter, cow and sheep poo, her own poo, rum and raisin doughnuts, some rotting innards she found in a field, and a marsbar that ds3 hadn't put up high enough. The last one necessitated a trip to the vet where she was given an injection to make her sick - which added up to a £30 mars bar!!

She is a bloomin' pain this one.
She has eaten frozen pizza, too many loaves of bread to remember, 3 eclairs, copious quantities of butter.

I was particularly cross because I had shut the dining room door and she nosed in. I was looking forward to it after clearing up DS sick...

We got those tablets you give the dog each day so that their pee doesn't stain the grass brown. Yesterday ddog managed to get the tub down off the microwave (where it should have darned well been out of reach) got the top off and ate all the tablets that were left.

Cue a trip to the vet, and a bill for £30 for them to contact the Poisons unit to check if there was anything toxic in them - luckily there wasn't so she didn't have to be made sick again! But dh was not pleased.

Our dog is so wee she cannot reach to pinch anything from the worktops or tables.

My parents had a Springer and she was terrible, butter, fish that mum had just bought from the fish van, you name it she ate it.
