yes i have seen it with my own 2 eyes

the monster puppy got in the boot of the car!!!

gp's have been training him every night since sunday and they i saw yesterday that he got in the car and

he

JUMPED IN

they used a harness type of lead to get him to the car, which was snug over his nose and he had to go where they led him and then placed cheese and meat in the boot and kept saying up

first he wasnt having any of it - but as the days went by - he was helped getting front paws up,and then lifted up,next day he put front paws up and gps lifted his 10.5stone arse up

next day, woffa did it himself - not using a ramp!!

gp's said they would carry on and hopefully when im back there on monday, i will have a go and see if i can do it

gp's said they will be having STERN words with db and he will have to continue this training EVERY night

Ahh but you have to get him in before you can take a pic you know Blonde

Great that he has started though, hopefully it will show db what can happen with a bit of consistancy

we are having this battle of wills too !
Doglet (8m) will jump in if she is off the lead but if she is on the lead she refuses. We live on a cul-de-sac so I was letting her jump in off the lead BUT then one day she saw a cat and ran off and I stupidly hadn't put DD in the car first so had to jog off down the cul-de-sac with DD on hip. Fortunately nice man washing his car grabbed her collar and brought her back.
I've been keeping her on the lead to get from house to car again but get fed up getting muddy from lifting her rear legs up into the boot of the car (at the end of the walk) but the last 3 days she has leapt into the car with the lead on as if she has been doing it this way all her life.
This is a HUGE breakthrough so Blonde I'm sharing your joy!!!

Quite fitting really to use a headcollar (halti/gentle leader) on your horse dog.

Good idea to put in haynet in for him too, sweetie.

Have fun at the gymkhana

Yay!

Bee-stung pup refusing to get in sounds v v stressful indeed.

GPs sound fab.

I am trying to picture the scene...

I guess you have a big car?
