'Shop gifting'

This gem from the Accessorize website. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?

You mean 'buy gifts' or 'browse gifts' or even, fuck me, 'shop for gifts' surely?

Is it just me? I am often irrationally narked by shop-speak.

Maybe it's the opposite of 'shop lifting'?

You take stuff from home and sneak it into the shop?l

I was torn down on here once before because of my hatred of '25% off on indulgent bathing' in Boots instead of '20% off indulgent bathing products' or similar so I am steeling myself.

I hate 'for free'.

It's either 'free' or 'for £X', surely??

'For free' sounds batshit crazy.

What about Stella Artois' latest advert?

"Be legacy"

Argh. I've never really thought about 'for free' but now it will forever irk me!

I've not seen the Stella ad but that too sounds supremely annoying. Angry
