advice for party of 60-70 adults and 30-40 kids

Hi we are having a sports day party starting at 2pm with food (bbq) at 5pm-ish and have a lot of people and kids coming. My question is any ideas for childrens entertainment? the adults will be competing in 'sports day' and so will some of the older kids but the majority of kids will be 4 and under. my idea so far is to enclose an area with straw bales for really little ones in shade with loads of toys so parents can keep an eye on them as it will be really near where our 'race track' will be. we wont have room for bouncy castle so any ideas to keep them happy and parents happy gratefully received.

Can the children not have their own 'sports day' races or out door games to play/keep them amused.
