As right now I don't have a clue, she wants a plazma wall mounted telly for her bedroom (she has been told to think again).

bought my 12 year old dd an ipod and speakers if thats any help.

I think she got a cheap digital camera for her 10th IIRC

Thanks Fruitshoot, she has an ipod, maybe I could buy her speakers or some device that is compatible (techology is a bit too new fangled for me!).

A portable DVD player was a big hit in our house, it is still going and has been fab. They're not too expensive.

We have one of those too for in the car. Actually maybe we could get her own one and then there would be no more fights in the car!
