Make my daughters birthday special

Hi mumsnetters my daughters 13th birthday is next Sunday. Could you give me ideas how to make the day special obviously we can't leave the house so please some fun indoor ideas thank you all 😊

Can you do an indoor scavenger hunt: have a list of items and/ or items to photograph and a time limit (or no limit depending on ability).

Do a pamper afternoon: face masks, foot soaks and nails painted, back massage etc.

Some fun craft activity that she has an interest in: Scrapbooking etc.

Obv fave food and drink and movie to watch with fave treats but that's usually an obvious given.

Can you make a big photo frame and paint it and put 13s in the corner and have a fun selfie photo session - we did this with DD's lockdown 16th.

Do something around the number 13 like all family members make up poems in 13 words or lines or a set of 13 challenges she has to complete - blind test 13 different foods and see how many she can get.

Sometimes the simplest things are the most memorable.

Some great ideas from @AnneOfCleavage there! Some party entertainers are working over zoom now, if maybe she wanted a little party with friends. They could all be sent the same party pack with an activity to do while online. If she likes cooking maybe a cook along of some baking - or school of wok do a bao bun kit or something.

You could wrap her doorframe at night so when she opens her door in the morning she has to break through it.

Birthday pancakes for breakfast.
