I have 11 x 4 year olds (plus parents Shock) coming over this weekend for DS's birthday. Not a huge house but extended kitchen where I hope the fun will happen! Bought space theme party bags and food boxes. Any cool ideas for games/activities to fill the time? This is my first party eek!!

The parents will need something...nothing huge but definitely offer them some food/drink.

Plan your party games and make sure there's a small prize for each child (bag of haribo is fine)

DO NOT let your child win pass the parcel! Grin

Let them all unwrap a layer and get a little something.

Hi OP! I know this thread was a while ago but I am just planning DS's 4th birthday with max 11 children and parents coming and I am panicking a bit! How did you get on?! Any top tips - dos or don'ts? I am wondering if I should find a venue instead but am a bit embarrassed to go back to everyone with a new plan! X

It was great! I think there were 13 kids in the end. I did restrict to one parent one child which no one minded and think it helped keep everything calm. We did 11-1 also good idea having it in the morning. Had some bucks fizz and canapes for parents and pre-prepared lunch boxes for kids. Cleared the kitchen, everything pushed to sides to maximise play space. Bought one of those colour in cardboard play houses to keep them busy until everyone arrived which went down a treat. Played pass the parcel and had a quick treasure hunt. No time for anything else. They mainly played together. Time went very quickly- it's doable!

Thank you so much, you have calmed me - that sounds lovely and fun! Fingers crossed for a similar experience here. The colour in house is a great idea!! Thank you for the ideas and reassurance Xxx
