My pil got dd2 a photobook for her christening from when she was born to her christening date and included pictures of her with all her immeadiate family and aded captions to each pciture. Its a lovely unique gift and I am sure when shes older she'll love looking at it.

I think I am going to do all the great grandparents one of these of all the grandchildren/great grandchildren for christmas

We found it hard too but a local jeweller started to make tiny solid silver candle holders in the shape of a train. It wasn't cheap (but then neither was DD's charm bracelet!) I've got her details if you like.

We got our son a hip flask, and we are going to get it engraved with his name and date of birth (it will definately get done (the engraving) before he turns 18....).
