Adults and Kids Halloween Party

We're having a Halloween party/first shindig at our new house and we're not used to having bigger gatherings mainly because our old house was absolutely awful, but also because I'm socially awkward!
So, any suggestions on whether we should put on games for the kids and any entertainment for the adults..... what do people do to keep everyone chatting? We've invited a lot of people that won't know each other so maybe an icebreaker would be fun....
Any ideas welcome, I'm terrified I've taken on too much!!!

for the kids:

-glow in the dark bowling. get some plastic bottles, pop rocks in the bottom (make sure you can still knock them over!) and then put glow sticks inside.

-pin the boo on the ghost pin the tail on the donkey with a halloween twist

-apple bobbing fill a bowl or 2 up with water, pop 3 apples in each bowl and the guests have to try and get them out using their teeth. adults can do this one too!

-halloween pinata- you can get one from here

for food:

try here

good luck! the adults can join in with some of the games (perhaps start with pin the boo on the ghost to break the ice) and then they will probably just chat. have fun :)

Can I resurrect this thread?

Have got 14/15 year olds and adults.

Trying to work out food amounts - if you had 7 teenagers coming, would you think in terms of about 4 large pizzas? Given that they will have lots of other snacky stuff too?

Games -
apple bobbing
marshmallows in flour
piñata
glow in the dark bowling - love this idea
youtube song requests
scary story boxes (usual classics, spaghetti for guts etc)
plus obviously responding to the trick or treaters

Sounds like enough??
