Virtual reality parties for kids??

Hi ladies,

Am wondering if anybody has ever incorporated virtual reality headsets/games for kids at birthday parties etc? If so, did the kids enjoy it?

Am thinking about doing this for my little one(5 yrs) but unsure if the kids will all enjoy it.

Any thoughts appreciated!

Thanks,
Deb

I don't think it would work as a party idea for children than young. Perhaps in three or four years time it might be better.
Whilst I know a few 5 year olds (not mine though) who might enjoy virtual reality when they're on their own or with a couple of other children, in a party environment they wouldn't engage with it for very long. Some wouldn't be interested at all.

My sons had a joint party at GAME, they played on pcs, xboxes and PS4 etc in a special room. DS1 was 11 and him and his friends used the VR system as well and loved it, DS who was turning 7 and his friends weren’t allowed to use it as too young, the VR isn’t good for their eyes (same reason you should switch of the 3D on a Nitendo DS)
