Hey ladies I'm having a party for my soon to be 6 year old daughter. I decided to do it at home thinking I'd just have a few ie no more than 10 however...she's just started a new school and couldn't decide who to invite so we've ended up with 16 little girls!! I'm going to seat them all on the dining room floor picnic stylie for tea after school (4-6.30pm) and was wondering what are the best games to do indoors? I reckon I'll need about 3 for that time period so they'll arrive after school do a game maybe a dancey one to work up an appetite then food at around 4.45pm then another couple of games and finally cake...what do you think? I'm heavily preggers and want to keep things as simple as possible...I thank you!!

I think that's a lovely idea.

You could start off with a game of musical statues.

A game of pass the parcel for when they are all sat on the floor having finished eating.

Then print off something like this www.firstpalette.com/tool_box/printables/princesscrown.html or some other art type activity and if you don't want mess just have felt tip pens, or if you are not too worried you could add glitter, sparkles to stick on etc.

Then if you still have time left over, have a game of sleeping lions so that they all wind down.
