Change bag for newborn and 19mo??

Any ideas on a good one? It has to be big because 19mo still has nappies/wipes/clothes/juice cup/snacks/toys etc and then there is all the extras that dc2 will need.

Budget of up to £70 but would rather spend a lot less!

I have been looking at the JJ Cole ones but cant find any in the shops to have a look at.

Thanks

Up to £70! You can have whatever you like. I picked up a nice piece of airflight hand luggage for less than a tenner. Does us great.

My eldest is only recently potty trained, so that lot and spare pants and trousers.

That is if we get money for this baby like we did with dd!! It will be my treat (I have a thing for bags!!!)

Airflight luggage is a great idea, I hadnt thought of that.

Dd will be potty trained in the summer I expect - I hadnt thought about the extras that come with that.

Thanks

Mama2moo- I have a 19 month old and soon a newborn anyday now. I have to tell you about this website! They are brill!! They have loads of stylish bags and the customer service was fantastic. I got my bag the next day. They were also cheaper than other websites as I was looking for a particular bag. www.happybags.co.uk/ I hope this helps

My DS has been pottytrained for a while now and I didn't use a change bag so I am of limited use but....

TKMaxx has loads of changing bags of various sizes and shapes and brands at the moment so it might be worth a look.

mommymeggie that website is amazing! I was looking at the OiOi ones - Are they quite big??

Can I ask, have you prepared your lo for the babies arrival? Dd knows that theres a baby in my tummy but she still seems so young to understand anything until the baby is here.

shivster1980 Tk Maxx is a great idea.

Mama2moo- Glad you loved the website! I love the OiOi bags and they are big. Mine will def fit the things I need in them. The strap goes around my pram too but I am about to get a double one soon. Good thing is if you order one and don't like it, you can return it with no problem. I got a note about it with my bag. They are really good about it as long as you don't use it obviously. Oh, and the reason I loved the OiOi bags was b/c I found one in TK Maxx ages ago and didn't buy it. I regretted the decision and tried to frequent the shop to find another. No luck so I googled oioi and came across this website. Even though I had to spend more than tk prices, I'm so happy with my bag b/c I got to choose it!

And as for my DD, its the same here with us. She knows about a baby and watches daddy kiss my tummy so she does the same. She also comes and sits next to me, lifts my shirt up and starts rubbing my belly. I think she is still a bit young to understand what will happen so I'm anticipating how she will take the new baby. I've been reassured by friends who have children the same age apart. They say b/c they are so young, they will just be excited about the new baby. I hope their right b/c I would be gutted if DD got upset. Best thing for us mums to do is just make sure we include DD with all the new baby things and make them feel apart of it all

Your DD sounds just like mine! I saw somewhere (probably on here) that its a good idea to get the older child to show visitors to the new baby when you are home. I am going to do that so that DD feels part of it all IYSWIM and I think she will really enjoy it!

At least we wont have the jealousy problems that parents have with older children and babies. I am expecting her sleep and routine to be put out a bit though.

I dont know about you but I cant wait to give dd a proper cuddle without a bump in the way
