ds gave himself a black eye this morning

He was in the cot and I'd popped to the loo when I heard an almighty crash and then a wail. His eye's swelled up like a balloon. Went to a&e and they say he's fine. What a noggin I am!

Don't really know as I wasn't in the room. he fell from standing (that's his new thing) and must've banged his head on way down. Just feeling sorry for myself. Maybe a stout slap and a 'good god, woman!' would suffice.

here you go! - stout slap and 'good god, woman!' how old is he? don't beat yourself up about it, you can't watch him 24/7. You are allowed to go to the loo!!

Thanks P, he's fine now. Never heard him scream so loudly in my life tho. My blood curdled.

He actually couldn't care less now actually. He's just hungry!
