Struggling with daytime naps for baby with a toddler to entertain

DS 11 weeks, DD 2.5 years. I find it really hard to get DS to nap during the day for more than 30mins in his cot - he has never done it. He has slept well until recently in his buggy, but now wakes after 30mins unless you continue walking as soon as I stop he yells - cant take DD for 2hr walks each day. He gets over tired and screamy in the afternoon without a long nap. We tried the swing, awakens after 30mins too. Sling works but I can't sit and play on the floor, 1.5 or 2hrs on my feet is not practical and very tiring on so little sleep.

Any tips as most books seem to assume you only have one child.

I'm very short, he is a very big baby and basically I can't sit down without squashing his legs, I can sit in a chair only with my legs very wide apart - not really for outside the house!

can't you fit in another 30 min nap in the afternoon? Both my DC's only slept for about 40mins a time until about 1yo, but they did it 3 times a day in the first 6 months...about 9am, lunchtime and 3ish.
