We lived in Hong Kong during the early 80's, Mum and Dad used to go to parties where we'd be hurried up the stairs in some strangers house to go to be with our duvets. Hours later 2 very drunk parents used to drive us home in the early hours, I'd like to think that Dad didn't drink much but given the size of their lie-in they must have been pretty sozzled!

Also Mum used to leave burning fags in the ashtray where me and my brother would sneek a quick puff!

Sounds like the Hong Kong living in the 70s and 80s that I grew up in too!
